Payslip Buddy is the first contractor focused solution that helps to protect Umbrella employees against any kind of umbrella unlawful and/or unethical practice. It allows employees and agencies to audit payslips to check their compliance, and we have voluntarily signed up to have every one of the payslips we process checked, every time.

Revolutionary within the payroll sector, Payslip buddy audits every payslip we generate, in real time, direct from our payroll software and cross-referenced with RTIs sent to HMRC. An audit report is sent to our partnering agencies and you, as one of our employees, will receive an audit report every time we pay you.

When you receive your first payslip as an SG Umbrella employee, you will receive two emails from Payslip buddy:

• An onboarding email asking you to activate your Payslip Buddy account. You will only receive this once
• And audit report email for your first payslip. You receive one of these each month, and they will be stored on your Payslip Buddy dashboad for future reference so you can track your income, taxes and pension contributions over time

Whilst we think that Payslip Buddy is a great tool for your peace of mind, it’s voluntary so if you don’t want to sign up, you don’t have to. We will continue to receive audit reports, as will our partner agencies, so you can still rest assured that compliance is paramount.
