Statement:

SG Umbrella is an employer of UK tax-based contractors. As the contractors are legally classified as our employees, we are required include their details within our Gender Pay Gap reporting.

All our contractors source their work through recruitment agencies and as such SG Umbrella has no involvement in the negotiation of pay rates prior to individuals commencing their employment with us.

The majority of our employees at the time the data was collected were formerly working as IT contractors via their own limited companies. The IT sector has traditionally had more male than female employees and this is reflected in the male to female ratio shown.

This statement confirms that the information shown is accurate as at the time of publishing and is signed by Daniel Mepham, Group Managing Director.
