SG Umbrella named finalist at the Contracting Awards 2025
Proud to be recognised among the best
We’re delighted to share that SG Umbrella was a finalist in the Best Umbrella Company, 500 – 1,000 Clients category at this year’s Contracting Awards 2025!
While we didn’t take home the award this time, we’re incredibly proud to have been recognised among the top umbrella companies in the UK, which is a true reflection of our team’s ongoing commitment to compliance, transparency, and exceptional service.
The event
On Wednesday 12 November, the SG Umbrella leadership and team descended upon the Hilton, Park Lane London for the awards ceremony, hosted by the Contracting Awards. Surrounded by the industry’s best umbrella providers, recruitment agencies and accountancy services, it was a moment to reflect on what “excellence in the contractor space” truly means.
Although we didn’t win, being shortlisted as a finalist in such a competitive category is an achievement in itself, and one that we’re honoured to celebrate.
Why this award matters
The Contracting Awards set the benchmark for outstanding service providers to contractors and freelancers in the UK. The Best Umbrella Company, 500-1,000 Clients category specifically rewards umbrella companies that demonstrate excellence in customer service, compliance and added-value support for contractors.
To be named a finalist in the Best Umbrella Company, 500–1,000 Clients category means our efforts to deliver compliant, efficient, and contractor-focused solutions are being recognised at the highest level.
